Author(s)Francesca Ervas, Giulia Casini, Francesca Forlé, Marina Sbisà
AbstractIn this paper we present the aims and the methodology of our survey on the
(under)representation of women in Philosophy in the Italian Universities and Philosophical Societies. The data collected in the attached .xls file were presented in Italian, under the title Alcuni dati sulla sottorappresentazione delle donne in filosofia in Italia, at the Workshop “Le donne filosofe dall’antichità ai giorni nostri”, organised by the Italian Society for Women in Philosophy (SWIP Italia) at the University of Bergamo (Italy), on December 13th-14th, 2018. The data are partial, because they are a first collection of an ongoing project of the SWIP Italia, which aims to monitor and compare not only the past and present state of women representation in Philosophy, but also how it will develop in the future.
